Unfortunately due to an overwhelming demand for our service our waiting list is temporarily closed at the moment. 

Please continue checking our website at www.talkmatters.org for an announcement of our waiting list re-opening. Once on the list, there is an average 16-18 week waiting time for an initial assessment appointment with one of our counsellors.

About Us

We are a confidential, independent charity providing counselling services for people in Fife. We can help with a wide range of problems. Whether you are suffering from depression, anxiety, stress, anger, have recently been bereaved or are simply feeling that you’ve lost your way; if life is getting on top of you and you are struggling to cope, come and talk to us…we are here to help. 

You can talk in confidence to our counsellors in a safe, secure and comfortable environment where you will be treated with respect. 

We see people from all walks of life and for all sorts of reasons. You may be adjusting to life events such as redundancy, retirement, divorce, separation or bereavement -  whatever the painful situation or difficult feelings you may be experiencing,  we really believe that ‘talk matters’. 

We are here to help you find a way to work through your feelings and to build your confidence, taking a holistic approach to what is troubling you.
